What Are The Key Steps To Improve The Stability Of Copper Soft Connectors?

In the process of producing bare copper foil soft connectors, each link must be strictly monitored and controlled to ensure product quality and stability:

1. Copper foil forming: It is necessary to use punching equipment to shape the copper foil strip into the required single piece shape, and the thickness, width, length and other parameters of the copper foil must be strictly controlled to ensure the conductivity and mechanical strength of the soft connection.

2. Copper foil collection and sorting: After the copper foil is formed, it needs to be screened, classified, and sorted to ensure that the size and quality of each copper foil meet the requirements, thereby ensuring the quality and stability of the soft connector.

3. Copper foil welding: In an environment with low oxygen content, the stacked copper foils are welded and melted, and the ends of the copper foils are pressed together to form terminals. After both ends are welded and pressed together, a copper foil soft connector is formed.

4. Copper foil soft connector cooling: After welding, it needs to be cooled in a low oxygen environment to ensure its quality and stability. If the cooling is not sufficient, it will directly affect the quality and stability of the soft connector.

The material for flexible connector of bare copper foil is usually T2 purple copper or oxygen free copper, with a thickness range of 0.05mm to 0.3mm. The contact surface can be treated with tin plating, silver plating, or nickel plating according to user requirements to improve its conductivity and corrosion resistance.
