We make copper busbars from copper foil with a range of thickness between 0.03 mm and 0.5 mm and a range of width from 10 mm to 300 mm. Using this type of foil gives maximum flexibility and is typically used for thermal expansion joints in copper busbar systems, Transformer connections and for rotary connections on High Voltage Switchgear.

The laminated flexible busbar can be plain (red) copper, or tin plated, or silver plated, or mixed.

These flexible busbar can be made with pressure welded ends , or with a wrapped end made from one continuous piece for copper foil, or with an end fitting to clamp the pieces of copper foil, or TIG welded or riveted.

Copper Flexible Busbar is using superior grade copper comprising stacked strips coming with riveted/welded contact areas. Further, this flexible busbar features constant cross-sections over the whole length and can be loaded with the same current. Here, a part of connectors is used as flexible expansion connectors so as to connect busbars with transformers, switch gears, generators and other equipment. These provide superior elasticity thermal expansion that also makes them be used as expansion connectors for preventing damages related to vibrations which occur due to switching gear operations.
